2023-2024 School Year for Army JROTC

Recapping April: the JROTC Drill team went to Hubbard Illinois on April 19th to compete. The team placed 2nd for Unarmed and 4th for Color Guard. A week later they went to Daytona, Florida for the last competition of the year for Army Drill Nationals. Congratulations to the Drill Team for representing our school.  

Reminders: The Award Ceremony will be held at the PCHS theater on May 9th, 2024, all cadets should be there no later than 4 in the afternoon. The ceremony will start at 5: 30 pm. LET 1 cadets will earn their 1 year LET Service Ribbon plus possible extra awards for outstanding cadets. Cadets will be in their class A uniform for the entirety of the ceremony. 

Memorial Day Flag Placing is at Lakeside Cemetery on May 25th, 2024 at 8 am for the last event until summer break. JROTC Staff members are required to attend flag pick-up. Cadets are expected to go but are not required to.

For those who are attending JCLC, you will be leaving on June 10th, 2024, and returning on June 14th, 2024.

Upcoming Events: the JROTC Staff will participate in the lowering of the United States flag on July 4th,  2024 at Pekin Memorial Stadium.

Seniors will be graduating on May 14th. Congratulations to all the seniors!
